High quality evidenced based therapy, to effectively address and treat anxiety, perfectionism in high achievers, social/separation anxiety, and adjustment concerns.
Hi. I’m Meredith.
If you want the TLDR version, here you go: I provide warm, connected and specialized therapy to help you and your family feel grounded again.
If you’re like me and you want a smidge more detail, here YOU go:
Life brings seasons where keeping up, staying calm, or knowing how to support the people you love feels completely overwhelming. Whether you are an anxious young adult trying to step off the hamster wheel of perfectionism, or a parent navigating big emotional outbursts with your 3-to-8-year-old, you don’t have to figure it out alone.
I’m the founder of Harmony Therapy Group and a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years of experience helping individuals, children, and families find steady ground. My approach is compassionate, evidence-based, and tailored to meet you right where you are.
Credentials & Background
I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and my Master’s in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University. Over the past two decades, I’ve served as a clinician, program director, clinical supervisor, speaker, and committee member for the International Association for Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp).
I hold multi-state licensure, allowing me to provide care across multiple regions:
Colorado: In-person sessions at my Centennial office or virtual care.
Texas, Virginia, & California: Virtual therapy sessions.
Beyond the Therapy Room
Denver is home for my husband, daughter, and me. When I’m not in the office, you’ll usually find us traveling to new places, eating yummy food, or heading back home to Texas to visit family and friends. We make our church home at Southeast Christian Church.

Specialized Care Designed for Real Change
I believe deep, lasting healing happens when clinical expertise meets real human connection. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I bring advanced training in highly specialized, effective modalities to our work together:
Cognitive Behavioral Play Therapy (CBPT): Helping young children (ages 3–8) process social anxiety, intense worries, and big behaviors through their most natural language: play.
Radically Open Dialectical Behavior Therapy (RO-DBT): Supporting high-achieving women, teens, and young adults in letting go of rigid perfectionism, chronic stress, and over-functioning.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing): Gentle, focused therapy to help the brain and body process trauma, panic, and deep-seated anxiety.
Relational & Family Work: Drawing on advanced trainings in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and Family-Based Treatment (FBT) to help individuals and families build secure, resilient connections.
Billing + Insurance:
I am an out of network provider at all locations and can provide a Superbill after each session for clients interested in submitting their own insurance claims.
